Job Description:
 

I Transfers all partial balances to correct fscs

I Sends pre- collection letters to self- pay pts

I Transfer all items where all efforts have been exhausted to cls on the first week of each month.

I Writes- off all uncollectible amounts ( i.e. bundling, non- reimbursable, etc )

I Calls self-pay-patients to collect on outstanding balances

I Performs follow-up and collection duties in PCS; works top dollar accounts

I Post denials and various adjustments

I Verifies patient----s insurance coverage and benefits; updates patient----s demographics

I Performs charge entry
