Responsibilities:


Coordinates the scheduling and efforts of Pharmacists and/or Pharmacy Techs.


Mentors new and less experienced staff and students.


Uses policy and procedure manuals and other reference material to ensure proper course of action. Provides consultative services to medical nursing and pharmacy staff.


Interprets physician medication orders for appropriateness.


Acts as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel.


Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing the related duties

Requirements for this job:


Minimum Doctoral degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy


Current license in practicing state
