Job Details:

In addition, this job serves as aA Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) / Consult Liasion (CL) possesses the advanced knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide expert nursing care in a defined area of specialization. Advanced clinical practice distinguishes the CNS/CL position, supported by knowledge and competence in the areas of research, leadership, consultation education and professional growth. CNS/CL strengthens collabrotive relationships with physicians, nurses, social workers and other healthcare providers in various settings to improve patient and family outcomes. Education: Master's Degree in Nursing. Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing practice. 5 years experience with minimum 2 years in practice area. Precepts RN's in BSN & MSN program.Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Currently licensed as a RN in South Carolina, ANCC Certification. Special Training: Ability to demonstrate advanced practice skills.
