Description

The staff nurse assumes principal responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each assigned patient.  The staff nurse initiates teaching and educates the patient and family/or significant other to attain optimal health.

Qualifications

Graduate of a professional nursing program, with current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska.  Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.  If no ACLS certification upon hire, staff will need to obtain within 3 months-6 months of hire.  RN experience in Telemetry or ICU required.
