We are seeking  a Revenue Cycle Manager for Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, MT.  Here are additional details on what the job entails and some of what it takes to be successful in this position:  
  • Assists in preparation for both short and long range planning recommendations for all of back end Business Office.
  • Oversees back end  functions, ensuring standardization and compliance with established policies and procedures of Conifer, regulations of applicable regulatory agencies, and standards of JCAHO.
  •  Analyzes and identifies problems, determines cause and desired resolution. Takes steps necessary to implement resolution.  Solves escalated problems related to his/her areas of assignment, and maintains a detailed knowledge of functions in these areas.
  •  Directs the development of tactical plans and operating budgets to achieve strategic Conifer goals; monitor progress toward goals throughout the year.
  • Hires, trains, and develops assigned staff.  Partners with Human Resources to maintain consistent policy and manages expectations with recruiting department to ensure staffing levels are met.
  • Enforces departmental policies, practices, procedures and work rules in accordance with approved hospital policies and assists in the development of new policies according to hospital and corporate guidelines
  • Conducts annual performance evaluations for staff, including goal setting and counseling where appropriate.
  • Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with appropriate Client and Conifer staff to communicate issues regarding procedures, processes and overall effectiveness
 
 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Hospital office management experience strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of Health Care Supervisory experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of relationship between Admitting, Clinical Areas, Financial Areas, and Centralized Scheduling.  
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare Billing, followup and reporting systems and hospital
  • Ability to create and clearly communicate strategic and tactical plans leading to an efficient and effective operation
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and management abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of computer systems in Health Care Information System
  • Clear understanding of Revenue Cycle Management and Regulatory Agencies required
