Our client needs full time Physical Therapist for 370+ bed acute care hospital. The hospital has a Level II, 27-bed, state-of-the-art Emergency Room and is the first accredited Chest Pain Center in Mississippi. Services include Behavioral Health, a 40-bed Chemical Dependency Unit, Cardiovascular Surgery, Maternal/Child Services, Gastroenterology, Medical Surgical Services, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, Advanced Urological Services, Orthopedics, Interventional Cardiology/Radiology Lab, Diagnostic Imaging, The Sleep Center, Nutrition Services, Pain Management and Behavioral Health Services. Accredited by The Joint Commission and Accredited Chest Pain Center.
Physical Therapist will evaluate, administer and direct administration of therapeutic procedures utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner. Establishes goals of physical therapy and re-assesses patient’s progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation. Ortho, Neuro, Cardiac, Vestibular, etc.
Evals, strengthening and conditioning, e-stim, paraffin, whirlpools, wheelchair, crutch and gait training, etc.
Education:
• Entry level Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
Certificates / Licenses:
• Board Certified / Eligible
• New graduates acceptable
