Description

The Labor and Delivery staff nurse assumes principal responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each assigned patient.  Initiates teaching and educates the patient and family/or significant other to attain optimal health.

 


Qualifications

Graduate of a professional nursing program. Current RN licensure in the State of Nebraska. Previous experience with L&D or women's health preferred. Current BCLS certification. Knowledge of current nursing theory and practice.
