Title:

Assistant VP of Finance

Job Summary:
The Assistant VP of Finance will organize and facilitate financial accounting and reporting in compliance with company accounting guidelines, hospital policies and procedures and generally accepted accounting principles. Direct the preparation of short-term long range plans and budgets based on hospital and corporate goals.   Regularly and systematically evaluates the results of operations for those departments reporting to the AAF and reports such results to the Chief Financial Officer.


Requirements:
- Bachelors of Science in Accounting required
-
MBA degree or CPA preferred
-
Two years accounting experience required
-
Accounting experience as Controller in a hospital setting
-
Prior supervisory experience preferred
-
Requires a broad knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
-
Must have proficiency in business software applications, including but not limited to: the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). In addition must be able to learn the other software programs specific to HCA
-
Analytical and problem solving skills required
-
Must have good written and oral communication abilities
