JOB DESCRIPTION:

POSITION OVERVIEW: This position performs critical care nursing functions in the Imaging Services & Cardiac Cath Lab Departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: " Provides comprehensive nursing care within the framework of the nursing process as it applies to the Cardiovascular Department. " Collaborates with patients, families and other members of the healthcare team. " Promotes and supports all Team Mercy standards of quality customer service. " Promotes continuous quality improvement in operations and in job performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas; additional registries in Cardiovascular Invasive Specialties are preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum one-year experience in Radiology Special Procedures, Cardiac Cath Lab, or Critical Care Nursing required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Utilizes the nursing process to deliver care to individual patients. Accepts assignment responsibilities as an accountable member of the healthcare team. Works cooperatively with nursing, ancillary and other patient-team personnel to maintain standards of professional nursing practice. Must maintain BLS and ACLS.
