Occupational Therapist - Certified Hand Therapist

Responsibilities:
Evaluates patients referred to Occupational Therapy
Plans, organizes and implements individualized therapeutic programs with patient/family
Observes, reports, and records patient progress and response to treatment
Participates in multi-disciplinary management of patients
Participates in staff development and education programs
Directs and supervises activities of support staff
Supervises therapy students and prepares written evaluations of their performance
Performs patient evaluations and treatment planning for Occupational Therapy Assistants
Educates patients and families on patient's progress, appropriate preventive and therapeutic exercises, equipment and modalities for post-discharge care

Requirements for this job:
Current or pending state license in practicing state
Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program accredited by AOTA
Certification in hand therapy
One to two years experience
