The therapy staff offers a broad range of intensive therapeutic services designed to maximize the functional capabilities of their patients in the outpatient orthopedics/sports medicine setting. JOB DESCRIPTION
In this position, you’ll evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy programs as prescribed by a physician. You’ll plan therapy sessions involving exercise, massage or other methods.

Provides care in accordance with patient's needs. Performs a thorough evaluation of patients assigned to establish goals and plan of care to meet each patient's needs. 100% in-patient.

REQUIREMENTS
Graduate from an accredited school of therapy. Must have an active current Physical Therapy license. BLS certification required.

NEW GRAD MENTORSHIP
The facility shall make available a structured mentoring program which may include, but not be limited to direct and/or indirect supervision of professional work, assigned readings, discussion and review of literature of current topics, presentations of clinical interest to colleagues in the clinic and assistance with skills acquisition.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    1. Evaluates patients according to physician referral.
    2. Treats patients according to plan using conventional treatment methods. 3. Completes all patient documentation.
    4. Initiates and documents patient teaching including family and/or significant others. Uses appropriate Patient Education documentation modality.
    5. Demonstrates open and effective communication with other health care providers.
    6. Demonstrates an active involvement in continuous learning.
    7. Participates in activities that promote department operations and program development.
    8. Committee involvement.
