THIS IS IT! PT CLINIC DIRECTOR for OUTPATIENT ORTHO/SPORTS MED Clinic - Will manage day-to-day operations; offer support & guidance to staff. Very supportive staff, top-notch working environment. This is a PERMANENT opportunity.

The Director is responsible for the overall leadership and operation of the facility; focusing on providing quality patient care.

VITAL STATS:

• Supervise both clinical and admin. staff and ensure compliance
with the APTA/AOTA standards and clinic policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership in establishing the philosophy of
rehabilitation for the facility with fellow staff members and based on
the needs of the patients.
• Provide direct patient care including the initial evaluation,
determination of the treatment program, and implementation of the
treatment program.
• Conduct ongoing evaluation of the patient’s progress in
cooperation with other members of the health care team. Maintain an
up-to-date record of individual patient treatment sessions.
• Oversees the maintenance of the clinical records in accordance
with the facility’s policy and procedure manuals.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and/or Experience:
Graduate from a college with APTA accredited curriculum.
Master’s degree or equivalent is a plus.
Ideal candidates must be dedicated and motivated with an entrepreneurial attitude.
2-5 years of experience required. Orthopedic background and Management experience a plus.
A Physical Therapist currently registered and licensed in the state of employment.

1. Evaluates patients according to physician referral.
2. Treats patients according to plan using conventional treatment methods. 3. Completes all patient documentation.
4. Initiates and documents patient teaching including family and/or significant others. Uses appropriate Patient Education documentation modality.
5. Demonstrates open and effective communication with other team members.
6. Demonstrates an active involvement in continuous learning.
7. Participates in activities that promote Clinic operations and program development.
8. Committee involvement.
