Description

Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the R.N. in charge of the team and/or unit.  Assists the nurse in transporting medications/blood products to and from the unit.  At times assumes HUC, Monitor Tech or Supply clerk duties.

 

 


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Licensure/certification/registration: Successful completion of Monitor Tech, HUC or supply clerk competency/ Nursing Assistant Certification /Registry, CPR

Experience Required: 2 years as a CNA

Special Skills & Qualifications: Competent skills reflected in keyboard usage, Windows and WordPerfect.
