Job Details:
All employees are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Palmetto Health's values of compassion, dignity, xcellence, integrity and teamwork. In addition, this job also assures the safe and appropriate use of medications through the provision of drug information, drug therapy monitoring, distributive and supervisory pharmacy services within the framework of hospital and pharmacy policy, standard practices and state / federal laws. Must meet departmental staff development requirements. Education: Graduate of an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy. Experience: Prefer hospital pharmacy experience and/or ASHP accredited residency. Number and Type of Employees Supervised: 0-4. Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: SC Registered Pharmacist License. Special Training: Must have thorough knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology; possess good mathmatical, computer, and aseptic technique skills. Must have problem solving abilities; able to work in team situations; handle urgent, stressful conditions. PH and departmental mandatory training required annually. Night shift differential available.
