Security Officers provide a safe environment for patient care in the protection and services to Largo Medical Center patients, visitors employees, medical staff, tenants and all other persons on the hospital campus. Security officers utilize a systematic integration of personnel, technology and proactive and reactive programs. They may also be required to transport patients before and after surgery to their homes. This could involve
picking up patients throughout the state of Florida for surgery at Largo Medical Center.
Job qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current driver's license required
- 2 years experience in Security or Law Enforcement preferred.
- Must have a Class D Security license and no points on driving license. Florida drivers license is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills required
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
