General Overview
Assists in installing, operating, maintaining and repairing all hospital mechanical and HVAC equipment and related machinery.
Job Description
Maintains and repairs complete HVAC Systems encompassing pumps, machinery, engines, motors, air and vacuum compressors, and iron and metal work, under the supervision of a skilled mechanic, according to established policies and manufacturers specifications. Performs lubrication, preventive maintenance to all hospital mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment, according to manufacturers specifications, under supervision. Installs mechanical and electrical equipment as directed by the foreman and under the supervision of a skilled mechanic. Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers specification, under the supervision of a skilled mechanic.
Qualifications
High School or Trade school graduate. Skills: Knowledge basic hand tools and ability to use them properly. Experience: Mechanical aptitude and 2 years experience in the trade, preferred.
Shift
This position will work Saturday and Sunday from 12noon-8:00pm and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 7:30am - 4:00pm.
You must be able to work this schedule.
