Shift:1:00pm - 6:30pm
Hours:Variable days of the week to include weekends and holidays.

Job Details:One year experience working in a Central Processing capacity. Performs all duties of a Central Processing Technician, collects and tracks durable medical equipment from nursing units and is knowledgeable of surgical procedures, terminology and instrumentation. Operates decontamination equipment and sterilizers, monitoring machine functions. Inspects instrumentation, assembles instrument sets, and prepares packs and instrument sets for sterilization. Knows all parameters of equipment operation and is knowledgeable of AORN and AAMI standards. Acts as a resource person for internal and external customers and trains new technicians. Has excellent communication skills. Is certified and maintains certification with a national organization, IAHCSMM, etc.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Current Certification in Steril Processing with national organization, IAHCSMM, etc.

Minimum Experience: At least 1 year direct experience as a CS at Memorial.
