Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic radiochemist to direct the MGH PET Cyclotron and Radiopharmacy Program. Responsibilities include supervision of cyclotron personnel and radiochemists, operations, applications, quality control and automated production of known and new PET tracers at two sites: the Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. The facilities include two cyclotrons (GE PETtrace -16MeV and Siemens Eclipse -11MeV), production facilities, research laboratories and extensive PET research imaging systems including a prototype MR-PET system.
The candidate must hold a PhD or equivalent and an academic rank of associate or full professor. The successful candidate is expected to actively engage in innovative radiochemistry research within the PET Program and collaborate with a rich environment of scientists and clinical researchers in the Harvard and MIT communities.
