Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator assists the Director with supervising the daily operations of the Pharmacy Department. In conjunction with the Director, maintains the proper staffing/drug purchasing levels in accordance with patient acuity and budget parameters. Responsibilities include but are not limited to fiscal, human resource, regulatory, clinical and operational functions in regards to pharmaceuticals.   Maintains a 24 hour/day accountability and serves as responsible for the Department in the absence of the Director.   Performs staffing requirement as a pharmacist during the normal course of the position as needed.   Coordinates staff hiring and supply management utilization activities.   Also active in department medication safety projects/programs.

Minimum Requirements:

- Registered Pharmacist in the State

- Pharm D. degree in Pharmacy required

- Completion of ASHP accredited residency program preferred                                  

- Minimum of three years managerial/clinical experience required; Previous management experience preferred
