*Management and coordination of the technical staff for Respiratory Care and EEG.
*Demonstrates clinical competence to practice within Respiratory Scope of Care.
*Acts as consultant for patient care concerns from staff, nursing and physicians.
*Administers the processes of employment, orientation and retention.
*Manages the operation, maintenance, and compliance of the blood gas machines.
*Performs employee appraisals for Respiratory Care and EEG.
*Assists with departmental CQI program, Outcomes management projects and other hospital initiatives as directed.
*Assists Medical Director with ongoing staff inservice program.
*Manages departmental equipment and supplies in a cost effective manner.
*Acts as computer liaison for Respiratory Care and EEG.
*Peruse own professional growth and development.
EXPERIENCE
Registered Respiratory Therapist, Minimum of 3-5 years critical care management level experience.
