Our Psychiatric Services include two units at our downtown campus: a six bed closed unit and an eleven bed open unit. Our professional staff work to ensure both the mental health and medical care given to each patient is safe and effective. By working together in a small, private setting, our team can meet the mental and emotional needs of patients while working closely with family, loved ones and care providers to achieve the best results. By offering 24-hour intensive nursing and medical supervision, family and care providers can be assured that patients are receiving necessary treatment for each of their illnesses.
We are currently recruiting a Psychiatrist to take on a role as part-time Practicing Psychiatrist.
Qualified candidates must possess:
Graduation diploma of approved Medical School with a current, valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida and unrestricted federal and state registrations to prescribe and dispense controlled substances.

Three (3) years of psychiatric residency training program approved by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, or an equivalent certifying body.
Board certification in Adult Psychiatry and Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology or equivalent certifying body.
At least two (2) years of experience as a full-time Psychiatrist, post training
Additional qualifications:
Addictions Medicine experience a plus
Bilingual abilities a plus
Geriatric experience a plus.
Must have a thorough knowledge of medical ethics, with particular reference to the obligation to maintain the confidentiality of professional work; personality which inspires confidence and trust in patients; and adhere to Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Organization.
