Qualifications
Must be available Sat. and Sun. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Perform paraprofessional home health aide services by following a written plan of care. Work is performed under the supervision of a primary nurse or therapist . This direct patient care position will provide personal care and related activities of daily living services for patients in their homes, skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities.
Certification as a Home Health Aide based on completion of a basic seventy-five hour course.
Must pass the HHA Massachusetts Council competency exam.
Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing to meet patient and organization communication and documentation requirements.
1 year of home health aide experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
