Outstanding opportunity for MD or PhD to pursue rigorous and exciting studies on role of cell stress and mitochondrial dysfunction in autophagy and apoptosis regulation (see recent publication: http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?tool=pubmedid=18772386). The candidate will join a large, well-funded and dynamic laboratory, The Institute for Personalized Medicine and the Department of Medicine with emphasis on in vitro basic mechanisms and in vivo translation to human disease. There will be plenty of interactive possibilities with other active translational research programs and state-of-the-art technology support at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Job Qualifications:
 

MD or PhD or MD/PhD degree required
Must be willing to work with small animals (mice)
Minimum of two years of basic laboratory experience
