Job Details:
All employees are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Palmetto Health's values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity and teamwork. In addition, this position is proficient and accurate in managing operations/staff/ budget of section assigned. Knowledgeable and proficient in laboratory testing of section to which assigned. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology leading to ASCP registry or equivalent. Experience:Minimum 5 years at MT level. Number and Type of Employees Supervised: 10-20. Licensure, Registry or Certification Required:MT(ASCP) or specialty exam or equivalent as determined by professional director. Special Training: must possess knowledge and skills to perform laboratory tests on patients of all ages, computer skills required, interpersonal skills, budgetary skills preferred.
