POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for supervision of any/all licensed and/or non-licensed staff within that division. Provides evaluation and treatment to patients. Responsible for completion of written documentation of patient evaluation and treatment. Responsible for completion f required written documentation of employee performance. Participates in the budgetary, quality assurance, and marketing process of the division. Orients new staff. Plans and conducts staff meetings as required by the Director. Monitors staffing levels and reports status to the Director. Monitor productivity levels and reports status to the Director. Serves as a resource to staff for complex or unusual cases.
Licensure/certification/registratio Must possess a valid and current license as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas, or eligibility and evidence of application. Must have a valid and current CPR card. Must possess at a minimum a Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience Required: Must have at least four years experience working as a physical therapist in adult rehabilitation. One to two years supervisory experience is desirable. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient (pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric)
