We are the Internal Staffing Agency for the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System. We offer supplemental staffing to facilities located throughout the Houston area.

BASIC FUNCTION: Position is responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in the provision of pharmaceutical care by performing technical and clerical duties associated with the operation of the Pharmacy.

Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to the different life cycles. Specific age groups that are served by this position are marked.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age, and possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
2. Current Pharmacy Tech registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
3. Pharmacy Sterile Product certification through an in-house program or other accredited program is required. Two years hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
4. Must have knowledge of medical terminology.
