Director of Pharmacy
Inpatient Facility

State-of-the-art acute care facility providing a variety of specialized services.

Responsibilities:
Will have 24/7 responsibility for ongoing operations of the pharmacy
Establishes and enforces policies, procedures and standards of the facility
Directs and supervises staff as well as the workflow of the department
Responsible for approving timekeeping, employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards and approving supply orders
Will have budgetary or fiscal accountability

Requirements for this job:
Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.
Current license in practicing state
Acute care inpatient hospital, director level experience, preferably in a for-profit environment.
Five years experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting.
Prefer three years as a supervisor.
Must be a relationship builder, work well with people, have excellent communication and collaboration skills as well as ability to lead and motivate others to succeed.
