In this position, you’ll compound and dispense medications using prescriptions authorized by a physician. You’ll instruct patients on medication including potential drug interactions and review patient medication history for allergies and drug interactions. Requirements: BS in Pharmacy; and a current state license.

Under direct supervision of the Pharmacy Director and /or Supervisor, reviews, interprets and processes medication orders.  Enters orders into the computer system and fills required doses, prepares and/or directly supervises the preparation of IV admixtures, checks all work done by technicians and clerks, and  compounds medications as needed.  Communicates with nursing and medical personnel regarding medication orders or drug therapy issues and reviews medication profiles.

Qualifications 
Education:     Must be a graduate of an accredited school or college of pharmacy. With a BS in pharmacy or a PharmD.          
 
Licensure/Certifications:  Current licensure from State of Missouri
