Job Details:
The staff pharmacist dispenses prescribed pharmaceuticals needed for patient care; advises, consults and provides drug information to patients and health care professionals. Supervises supportive staff. The staff pharmacist assists the Director of Pharmacy in the implementation and enforcement of standards as required by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, federal and state laws pertaining to pharmacy and IV services, and according to department, hospital, and medical staff policies and procedures. Requirements: Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy and an active Florida Pharmacist license. 2-3 yrs hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills required. Sound professional judgement required. Computer knowledge and skills required.
