Description
 

Maintain working familiarity with Medicaid Rebate Agreement, VHCA, PHS Pharmaceutical Pricing Agreement and regulatory/legislative changes that impact
Provides support for developing/improving pricing and/or discount strategies to maximize financial return to Fresenius
Create, validate, and analyze and report all monthly and quarterly government pricing calculations including AMP, RPU, BP, ASP, NonFAMP and PHS pricing. Appropriately communicates PHS and FSS pricing to Contracts department. Identifies nominal pricing and customary prompt pay discounts for government reporting. Refers issues to management as needed.
Accurate and timely processing of Medicaid and SPAP rebate requests for payment, including verification, preparation of ROSI or PQAS
Utilizes SAP/Excel/Access to process Medicaid claims
Maintains database of Medicaid/SPAP rebate payments
Projects accruals for Medicaid/SPAP liability monthly
Maintains and updates pharma reimbursement log and pharma reimbursement master
Prepares periodic and ad hoc analyses to identify rebate implications and makes recommendations for rebate terms in contracting opportunities

Requirements
 

Bachelors Degree Finance or Business degree preferred. 1-2 years of business experience, Pharma preferred
Pharmaceutical government pricing experience (AMP, ASP, FSS and PHS Pricing)
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Word and Excel required, SAP and Access strongly preferred
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
