Housekeeper - PRN

Description

Performs general housekeeping tasks according to detailed instructions in order to maintain the hospital in a sanitary, clean and attractive condition.


Qualifications

Must be able to communicate knowledgeably and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Must be able to read, speak, and comprehend English. 
  • Must be able to communicate with patients and staff.
  • Must be able read labels on chemicals in order to properly mix and use such chemicals safely. 
  • Must understand the use of cleaning supplies.

Must be able to lift up to 50  lbs.  No guaranteed hours, must be able to work when needed including some nights, weekends or holidays.

Previous housekeeping experience in a health care setting preferred, but not a requirement. 

Must be able to work in a team environment as well as alone.
