GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager or other designated Supervisor, performs the following functions for patients of all ages: provides professional nursing care using the nursing process; demonstrates management skills in the coordination and provision of health care; maintains professional growth and development through an ongoing process of formal education and through clinical nursing study; demonstrates a positive, concerned and sensitive response in the work place; and performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing . BSN preferred.

Required Length & Type of Experience
One year related nursing experience preferred.

Required Licensure, Certification or Registry
Must be currently license to practice in the state of Ohio .

Required Physical & Environmental Demands
Requires full range of body motion including handling & lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing & walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts & carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision & hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions & irregular hours. Exposure to communicable diseases &/or body fluids.
