OverView:
The Environmental Services Technician cleans and sanitizes and assigned area in the building. The assigned area could include patient and resident care areas, operating rooms, offices, and public areas. The EVS Tech operates power equipment when performing tasks such as wax removal and recoating, carpet and upholstery shampooing and polishing/scrubbing floors. - Part-time- 16 hrs per week- Varied Shifts- Benefits Eligible- Weekends and Holidays Required

Responsibilities:
Cleans and sanitizes surfaces and fixtures in an assigned area in the facility to meet established cleaning standards. Checks stock in dispensers and fills when needed. Identifies cleaning problems and determines the appropriate remedy. Insures that spills are promptly corrected and that discharges, used delivery, surgery and autopsy rooms are cleaned and sanitized within established time limits. Replaces burned out light bulbs. Maintains glass, carpet, upholstery, walls and hard floor surfaces in a clean and aesthetically pleasing condition.

Qualifications:
Prior experience in the Custodial profession is preferred.
