Performs accurate and timely assessments on new patients and reassesses patient needs throughout the course of treatment; develops an individualized care plan in collaboration with family and health care team; revises and prioritizes care plan to reflect changing patient needs; implements nursing interventions and physician orders in an efficient manner; administers medications according to established legal and nursing standards; utilizes critical thinking skills to correlate and interpret changes in patient condition; initiates appropriate interventions based on changes in patient condition; evaluates patient response to interventions;develops a teaching plan based on patient need; maintains a cost effective approach when utilizing resources for patient care.
