GENERAL SUMMARY:
To provide prompt responses to customer needs and requests in a courteous, professional and efficient manner. Should be able to perform "trouble shooting" duties for customers as needed. Function as Courier/Phlebotomist or Courier as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidate will have previous phlebotomy work experience

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* High School diploma or equivalent. Background in a hospital/clinical laboratory with experience in customer service.
* Possesses telephone communication skills projecting a professional image and a pleasant demeanor. Individual should be able to perform keyboard entry 35 wpm.
* Valid Ohio drivers license with no moving violations is mandatory.
* Medical terminology preferred.
* Receives and initiates telephone calls from/to clients.
* Demonstrates competency in performing veni-punctures, heel punctures, and capillary sticks using specific techniques that assure patient safety.
* Triages and Processes Specimen for Distribution.
* Performs Courier Service Representative Duties: Supports the laboratory courier service by driving the courier route following predetermined schedules and destinations.
