PBX Operator
In this key role you will-
.Operate hospital wide communications systems, to include clear paging overhead and beeping physicians.
.Answer all calls clearly and transfer calls to appropriate departments, patient care areas and rooms
.Monitor all alarm panels in the PBX area and follow proper protocol for emergency response procedures.
.Maintain and complete dispatch forms and logbooks on codes.
.High School Graduate or Equivalent
.Previous customer service experience preferred
.Must be able to effectively communicate in English
.Must possess the ability to be cheerful and informative in communicating with the public, patients, employees and medical staff while working in a
fast paced, intense environment while remaining calm.
