As a BI Systems and Integration Specialist, you will have the opportunity to create these solutions.
Partner with internal and external service providers, and subject matter experts to rapidly deliver the right information at the right time to the right person.
Create a business justification for your work, and be prepared to present it to senior leadership.
Build OLAP solutions that include ETL, data mart, reporting and analysis components, typically as a member of a one to three person project team.
Essential Functions:
Propose solutions leveraging appropriate toolsets following thorough analysis of data source quality, and data source availability
Research emerging technologies and Business Intelligence methodologies that can be adopted to deliver World Class BI solutions
Build OLAP solutions that perform beyond expectation to ensure adoption by senior level decision-makers
Present solutions at various stages of development to business partners
Contribute to project timelines, budgets, and justifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of additional equivalent work experience required.
7 years minimum experience in systems integration architecture, modeling and BI solution design
7 years minimum experience building and tuning OLAP solutions
Ability to learn new technologies quickly, and without formal training
Expert SQL knowledge with a variety of DBMS - Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, etc.
Reporting Interface Development/Maintenance with a variety of technologies - Crystal, Business Objects, Reporting Services, etc.
Apply appropriate design patterns to form reusable ETL components
Deliver scalable ETL to ease system management
Contribute to automation and instrumentation design
Preferred Qualifications:
Windows Server, and IIS or Tomcat administration
Administrator of relational database suffering from poor design
Exposure to object oriented programming languages such as C# and Java
Enterprise infrastructure operations experience
