Description
 

Monitors the QMS, Medical Manager or Soarian automated billing systems and operations processes pertaining to the FMS reimbursement/Accounts Receivable function, developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to maximize efficiency and efficacy of billing and operations while ensuring compliance with all applicable company and regulatory requirements. Provides support and guidance to the FMS field billing operations personnel, acting as a reimbursement subject matter expert and resource as needed. Maintains current knowledge and constantly researches Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) initiatives, changes and updates evaluating the impact on the company specifically with regard to billing and collections practices and operations. Determines and recommends system changes as needed to ensure the required compliance. Supports system integration activities across multiple entities and coordinates system updates in FMS Reimbursement functions that pertain to the field operations. This may include but is not limited to:
All Pricing Maintenance (i.e., Quarterly Medicare pharmacy pricing updates, composite rate changes, standard increases as needed)

Requirements
 

Minimum of high school diploma.
Bachelors degree with major in Business preferred.
Minimum 5 years management experience, 10 years preferred. Direct experience with medical billing and system applications. Strong written and oral communications skills. Excellent computer and software application skills. Able to manage multiple and changing priorities.
Well organized and detail oriented. Experience in scheduling/registration/admissions/insurance verification, UB92 billing, electronic billing systems, insurance follow up, cash posting, Medicare bad debt reporting, systems conversions/implementation, previous supervision of 40-50 FTEs desired.
