Job Description:
 

The Patient Coordinator will work for the Irving J. Selikoff Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan.

Employee will work in the Irving J. Selikoff Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine with the following schedule: three days a week at the Clinical Center and two days a week at the Center for Advanced Medicine. The employee will assist the physicians in their daily work, including patient care and clinic screening related activities. In addition, employee will assist in ordering supplies, maintaining exam rooms and other clinic related tasks.

1. Assisting physicians with case management for Workers' Compensation. Assisting in maintaining office/exam rooms. Job includes patient contact, arranging follow-up care and referrals and interfacing with legal system (Workers' Compensation, legal representation) and insurance companies.

2. The job includes performing the necessary tasks related to screenings conducted by the clinic, including patient follow-up, referrals, administrative/clerical work, preparing charts and other supplies.

Job Qualifications:
 

Minimum Education:
GED/HS
Associate Degree Preferred
Certification to perform Phlebotomy testing.

Experience and Skills:
1-2 Years related experience
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
