Description

Coordinates and provides safe care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.


Qualifications

Graduate from School of Nursing.  Current Florida Nursing License, Current BLS Certification, Current ACLS Certification. Demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological and therapeutic components specific to the critically ill patient. The nurse will possess at least one of the following requirements:
a) One year of Telemetry or PCU experience validated by previous employment/internship. b) Sysrhythmia interpretation and management course. c)    Adult critical care course/Telemetry course. d)Three years Medical Surgical experience with documented competency in EKG.
