St. John's Regional Medical Center, a 266-bed facility, has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Coder in our Health Information Management department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
 

The Coder II assigns ICD-9-CM/CPT-4 diagnosis and procedure codes for all patients records. Assigns appropriate E&M levels, and charges on ER patients.

To be qualified, you must have a minimum of two (2) years inpatient / outpatient experience as a Medical Records Coder in an acute care facility w/knowledge of ICD-9-CM & CPT classification systems. Prefer CCS, RHIT or RHIA certification.

This position is represented by SEIU Local 399 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
